Is this bad? (intake manifold)

So I finally got around to replacing the gaskets on the intake manifold. This is what I found.

Is that burnt oil spot on the bottom of the manifold anything to worry about? Also you can see in the pictures that the rearmost port on each side is clogged. What would cause that and should I worry about it later once I clean it up?

Here is a picture of the area below the manifold, does it look like it's supposed to?

the burnt oil is from the manifold heat crossover, all it really does is help the car stay running during cold start up, if you don't drive much in the winter use the block off tabs that come with the intake gasket set. the rear coolant passage in the head is plugged up because the intake doesn't have a rear coolant crossover, not a big deal really, just means you need to flush your coolant more often

Yup.

Many of the factory intakes have a sheetmetal cover over that area of the intake to prevent the oil from coking too bad under there. The aluminum intake transfers and dissipates heat much better and probably doesn't need one.

Yeah, lotsa of aftermarket manifolds dont have that cross over anywways. When you put er back together use some weatherstrip adhesive or something around the water ports

looks good to me also. when reinstsalling the intake gaskets i like to put a THIN coat of silicon sealer around the coolant passages, on both sides of the gasket. i also trash the end gaskets and use a bead of silicon instead. the only time i have ever had a leak was when a friend of mine forgot to torque one side of the intake, and like an idiot i didnt double check his work.
