The other day at the track i started the car and pulled the spout connecter out and checked my timing, it was at 10 so i put the spout connecter back in and it was still at 10 is this normal or should it change i have never payed much attencion to it before,when does it begin to give advance?
In my experience, the puter should have kicked the timing up some as soon as the SPOUT went back in (the 94 GT was the last stang I timed, and it kicked in 10* just from installing the SPOUT).
You might have a cut wire in the SPOUT connector harness.
If you suspect the connector, you could put a jumper wire in the harness instead (even a paperclip would work). I sorta doubt the issue is the connector itself, unless it looks like poop.
How does the wires look?
