Alright, I know for sure my next modification will be removing my smog pump, but that's not important. What IS important, is that shortly after doing this I will be looking into purchasing a Cobra intake upper/lower.

If you look at my combo, I'm running BBK CAI, 75mm MAF, and a 70mm TB with 19lb injectors.

Now, if I'm running p&p stock heads with a valve job and a Comp cam, will this new Cobra intake flow accordingly to my combo? Or will it end up being too much intake for the rest of my engine?

Thoughts please..........

P&P? Ported and polished? No the Cobra is the perfect intake. You could go for a GT-40 or even an Edlebrock as well. Not a big deal but a 65mm TB would have been my first choice fr a throttle body.

like i said in the other post man, the cobra would be the perfect intake for your setup and for what you're going for in a mild street application. get that intake man, you'll like it.

Why are you pulling the air pump?

More or less just something to do b/c I can't keep my hands off my car.

I'm just kidding. But seriously......I'm all about cleaning up the engine bay and getting rid of useless stuff that just adds to the engine's strain. Besides, what if this smog pump decides to go out one day and starts screaming at me. A useless pump piggy-backing my engine and trying to get a free ride? I don't think so.......OUT you go Mr. Smog.

Unless I'm completely missing the reason why I should leave it hooked up, it's coming out this weekend.

I'm under the impression it'll get rid of some of the unnecessary work the engine is having to do right now. I don't have cats so I should be okay, right?
