I am building a mustang2 drag car and it is time to look for tires.
I want to run a 7 wide slick does anyone know if a 15x7
will fit? also were would be the best place to find these tires?
15x7 turbines or 10 holes from a fox-body are a bolt-on for the rear, the smallest 15" BFG drag radial fits for sure (that's what I run on the '75), but I don't know about slick sizes, I'd call Summit or Jegs and see if they had a recommendation on slicks. My big concern with running a slick would be how tiny the fenderwells on these cars are back there. My street tires on my '75 are on a 14x8 wheel, and without the air shocks in the back aired up to about 120psi, the tires rub on the inside, the drag radials don't have that problem.
