Well the past few day I did the high speed fan mod which works great and so much easier to tap the line near the eec than in the engine compartment. I also got a new egr valve and sensor, and I replaced the wire mesh screen that goes in front of the mass air sensor that evens out the air flow. And after I was done I drove it around then said to myself 'what the he!!' and mashed it WOT and was supprised to find out that THE PINGING WAS GONE!!! I then said to myself, 'this may be a little premature' so i drove it around for a couple of days and mashing the peddle every chance I got , on the freeway whlie going 70mph already, at red lights , while crusing at 30 mph and holy smokes the pinging was really gone.
