The car could benefit from a paint job since the hood is unpainted. It has never been in an accident. The water pump is new, as are the tires. With the mods, what do you think is a reasonable asking price assuming i can find the right buyer? Just trying to get some ballpark figures before i place the ad.

He had a Powerdyne. I'd be interested in hearing why it's gone, besides the fact that it was a piece of chit.

Green - You don't want to part it out?

Joe

Figured he had one on there before just wondering why he took it off. Parting it out might be the best option if you are looking to get more than 8 or 9 for it.

What made you decide to sell it? What are you buying in it's place?

It really depends on how long you are willing to hold on to the car that will dictate what you will get for it. It is possible that you'll find one guy somewhere that is willing to pay you $10K for it, but if you wanted to sell it quick you might only get $5K or $6K.
I'd suggest if you are going to sell it, do it soon because the "car season" is half over already, and the closer you get to the end of the year the harder it will be to get what you want. Not to mention the fact that alot of guys will be buying the used 99's that will be everywhere when the '05 dust cloud settles...LOL

to answer the boost gauge question, the car had a powerdyne. the car had stock heads and cam when it was on and under boost, i blew a headgasket. i sold the blower and bought heads and a cam. i kept the boost gauge for the purpose of being able to read vacuum.

with only the intake, throttle body, cai, and exhaust mods the car made 230.2hp 293.2lb/ft. parting it out is an option, but i dont know if i have the patience to do it.

Dude I paid 7,500 for mine and it was bone stock only thing that wasn't was the paint job and the radio lol and that was with the beat up rear quarter panel and i got a spare h pipe that the guy told me had hollowed out cats. Ran a little better and was louder after putting them back on so i guess he was right. But with all the mods you got I'm sure you could get more then that when i was looking to buy mine all the dealers wanted like 13 for a used one and they were stock too hate to see anybody get rid of their stang but if thats what you wanna do then good luck hope you get a good amount for it

i hate to get rid of it too. i have so much time and money into it that the thought of selling it makes me cringe. the money is needed more elsewhere though rather than in a toy in the garage. i will be back sooner or later, most likely with a fox. as for parting it out, after talking to vib, i think im going to go that route. selling all the parts at a reasonable price, plus selling the car at $5000 or so, would put me around the $10000 mark which would make me quite happy.
