I basicaly want to know what supercharger will be the best and cheapest for my setup to reach 450-500 rwhp. What psi will I need to get this?

I already have plenty of low end grunt from the stroker kit, so I have narowed my search down to a centri, but dont know what brand or kit is the best.

I already have a chip and a 90mm maf, so I wont be needing either of those. I see that many kits come with these; I would prefer one without.

I will be needing a fuel pump. Would an inline be the best for me considering that I have a 98?

An intercooler would probably be a good idea to keep things safe and cool.

Basicaly, which kit should I get, and what other parts am I missing?

TURBO = TOO EXPENSIVE

I can get the hp I want from a centri for much cheaper.

I'd suggest a novi 2k that's the centri that has my attention.
Fuel system at the least a big intake pump 255lph might cover you at that power level.
May want to also research water/menthanol injection.

It would take an F1-R from procharger to equal a novi 2000....novi is MUCH cheaper and VERY reliable. People have alot of problems with ATI....very few problems with the novi.

NOVI 2000 FTW!!!!!!!!!!! And you need about 12PSI to hit around 500RWHP.

i have the vortech myself and i am very happy with it easy to install and mantain

at only 8psi i am making about 360rwhp and with a little play in the tune i can see about 380 easy and thats with a stock 3.60 pulley

intercooler, camms and a smaller pulley and i am in the mid 400 range only thing holding me back then will be a forged motor

the sq-trim is good for about 600rwhp and thats enuff for me and if i want more i will just slap my nx kit back on the car a spray my way to 700

Now he is also selling intercoolers of all different sizes....if they arent listed yet, just look in the forums under the "small talk" forum and there will be a sticky called "DIY interoolers" ...just read that

what makes the novi 2000 more reliable? I have also read that the procharger p1sc is good to 825 fwhp? so why woulnd a procharger f-1 be needed?

well the novi will flow more air through the compressor housing than the procharger P1-SC at teh same boost level

I'd go with twin screw for the instant torque and hp. Look at the dyno charts and compare any centrifical to twin screw and see the difference and at what RPM gets the torque and hp to come in at. That is what will be more fun on the street. You will need larger injectors 39lbs are good for up to over 500 hp which is more than your engine can handle safely being stock rotating. Look at the kenne bell boost-a-pump instead of dropping out your tank and putting in a larger fuel pump. Your stock pump is good and the kenne bell boost pump triggers more voltage at high boost to give up to 50% more fuel flow. Mine is at 30% more and I am good on fuel. I am maxed out with my saleen blower at about 400 hp at the wheels and will be going to a 03Cobra next year with a Kenne Bell compressor and chip and intake and 600+RWHP. I thought 400whp would be enough but not hardly.

Oops, looks like the novi 2000 is equal to the D1-SC, not the F1-R. But its still better than the P1-SC.

Novi 2000 flows 1400CFM
P1SC flows 1200CFM
D1sc flows 1400CFM
F1 flows 1525CFM
F1-R flows 2000CFM

Its just that the P1-SC has had alot of seal leaks, and I personally know of people that have burned pistons with them...and one of those guys knew of other people who have done the same thing.

So I guess its up to you then D1-SC (good blower) or novi 2000 (Good blower..MANY people have them and I have never heard of a failure) .
