After doing some research, I've decided to go with the Maximum Motorsports Coil over kit. However, I am undecided on which lower control arm to go with. Should I get the standard LCA or should I get the super duty LCA (ones with the spherical bearings at both ends). Also, has anyone been successful at getting a lower price for these kits? In addition to the purchasing the kit, I plan to purchase the LCA, replacement bushings for the UCA, wheel spacers and some other items.

Thanks

You could check stangsuspension.com to see if they have cheaper prices. You could also try some of the advertisers in the corral forums that sell MM stuff.

And you can email them your question and get a response from the pros who know about this stuff! tech@maximummotorsports.com or sales@stangsuspension.com

I've already talked to MM. I am just trying to get opinions form peeps that have used the various MM LCAs and what they have experienced with the ride qualities.

Peace

I would go with the standard duty RLCAs. I also would skip the bushings for the upper control arms and get a panhard rod.

If I'm not mistaken, the panhard rod mount also doubles as a coil-over mount on one side of the car. Otherwise, I think you have to buy the mount separately. Don't quote me on that, but you might want to look into it.

Finally, it seems like now would be a good time to put some '03 cobra front control arms on since they only cost $200.

It's easy spending other people's money.
