Ive had my strut tower brace off for a week...

Than using this concept, why didnt ford put them on there cobras? the major difference being a stiffer k member? thats not a very good argument.... My cobra feels 10X stiffer than my old 95 Gt that had a ST brace. after taking my 95's off and adding subframes it did feel quite a bit stiffer. So for arguments sake I'm not sure how the cobra would feel with one on, but I know how my Gt felt without one, and just adding subframes. Ford should have just put subframes on these cars from the factory, the STB on the Gt's is a band aid fix, for a crappy k member, and no subframe IMHO. Most people who buy these cars do not make them corner carvers, so with that being said what would be the use for a STB on a car there trying to cut weight from?

Now I on the other hand am trying to make mine a corner carver, There is just something about going around turns fast that I love, so I may look into a stb in the future, however it is not my first or second area i'm addressing.

If it didn't make a difference, Ford wouldn't have spent the extra money to put it on. Pretty simple concept.

I can't wait to install my MM unit, as I've never had a STB. I'll report the difference
