I've never asked this before so just once would be ok, right??

I know this question has been asked by a lot of people but this is the first time I get the guts to ask it, so help me out. What will I run in the 1/4 mile with what's in my sig. + l/t headers, prochamber, 4.10s, 3000 stall, chip, upper and lower control arms, and subframe connectors. I have all of what I just listed except the stall, chip and subs. I just want a rough idea and if I'll be able to beat the aode's I called out on the other thread :owned:

If you have nothing helpful to say, don't say it and avoid the retaliation.

THANX

Originally I was thinking the 4.10s would get you closer than I am but they could hurt you. I'm pretty close to the end of my gears at the 1/4.

So depending on how well you are flowing... he could be more accurate.

Not many N/A stock head AODE's on here in the 13s... that's for sure.

Why do you say 14s Paul??

Because you have a stock AODE and a convertible. Like Paul (gcomfx) said, there are VERY few stock headed AODE cars around in the 13's. I ran a 13.83 at 98.5mph with an edelbrock performer intake, t-body, pulleys, bumped timing, 3.73's, headers, offroad X pipe, mufflers, and nitto drag radials... this is with a 5 speed. I really don't see you going 13's in a similarly equipped vert with a stock AODE, even with a different converter. I could be wrong, but I stick by my guess. JFYI- I ran a 15.2 at 90mph BONE STOCK, so you have a good 7 tenths to make up just to be pn par of where I started if you ran a 15.9 stock. A converter will help that a lot, but I don't know if that's enough.

I never said I ran 15.9 stock, that was Paul. My car has never seen the track. Maybe this Friday like I told Paul, but we'll see.

Well, a good friend of mine ran his stock AODE 95 convertible at the track and the best he could do was a 16.2 at ~87mph at a low elevation track, I thought you were doing well with the 15.9 stock... I missed that it wasn't your time though. I say before you even THINK about running 13's, you get to the track and see where you're at now. Do yourself a favor, go to the track WITHOUT expectations, you'll be happier in the end. The track can be a VERY humbling experience. I can't tell you how many people 'think" they have a "X" second car until they make their first pass, let's just say a LOT of people come home disappointed when they go expecting to run something better than their car is capable of. Best of luck to you though! :nice:
