J4J1 in an AUTO?

according to your site you don' change everything to how the u4p0 file is.

one of the things is a function
trans_TV_pressure_12

the j4j1 file is different from the u4p0. my cobra file has 0,5, and 25 in y, but u4p0 has 10,12,25 and 30

Is yours like this? have you had any problems at all? My tranmission is having problems, just trying to see if this is it.

That function represents the line pressure on the upshift from 1st to 2nd.

The values I'm using there add more pressure than stock.

The only thing I noticed after changing the function is that the tires chirped on WOT runs after the change due to the increased line pressure at WOT.

I can't comment on how it affects the longevity of the transmission - if you want to play it safe definately use the stock U4P0 values. What I'm using there is what I arrived at from reading and experimentation.

I have used stock, except for one I asked you about earlier in this topic. My transmission is giving me lots of problems though. I am just trying to narrow down what the problem could be.

It did not start right after I used the j4j1 tune. It started after raisng the tv pressure and going to the track. Mainly after going to the track.
