JBA shorty headers

I live in California with a 2001 Mustang GT. I have to follow strict smog laws so I can't get longtubes. My question is that will adding JBA shorty headers give me noticeable difference in the tone of sound and power over my stock headers? I can only add shorty headers because they are the only ones that are smog legal here.

would the bassani mids be legal? i am guessing they arent, but i dont live there lol. they are awesome. the JBA s are very nice. great quality and fit on my bros car. yes, your tone will change, loudness will be close, but you will have a nice rumbling. i dont think you would be dissapointed at all. throw some gears in that beast too ; )

when i got mine, i had the stock exhaust. it made it a little louder and a little deeper. nothing drastic, but it was noticable.

Not worth the money to get shorties on a NA car.
