JMC Hydraulic Clutch - dust boot?

I am doing a T5 with JMC hydraulic clutch conversion (among other upgrades) and was wondering what to use for a dust boot for the clutch fork? I bought this clutch fork cover but the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder orients on the oposite side of the clutch fork compared to the standard clutch cable setup. I can't see leaving this gap open, so I figure someone in this forum has already solved this problem. Anyone got a solution, with pics? Thanks.

I just left mine open its not that big of deal. It's like not running a dust cover on the bottom of your bellhousing. I have never heard of anything happening.

Just seems to me like road debris and water (not that I drive much in the rain) would get into the BH and clutch/throwout bearing = not good. I was hoping to see if someone modified the factory fork cover in a way that worked and looked nice. Anyone else out there solve this problem already?

I used a hole-saw to make a hole in the back of the sheetmetal fork cover, big enough to allow passage of both the slave cylinder rod and the return spring. I don't recall the size, maybe 1.5" or so? While the cover doesn't provide a totally sealed solution, it does prevent the random piece of road debris from finding its way into the bellhousing. It's been on for about 3k miles in a variety of weather, street, and road course conditions, and has given no sign of trouble. sorry - I don't have pics handy, but I'm sure you get the idea...

I have the JMC kit on my FFR Cobra, love it. No dust cover.

Red65, this is along the same line of thought I had. I will definately try to use the existing cover and post some pics when I get it done, maybe this weekend. Thanks for the responses guys!

Any pics taken yet? I need a clutch fork boot for my cable/T5 setup and this I have yet to get any info. There is one classic Mustang restoration site (Mustangs Plus) that has one... Here:

Yes, I did complete the clutch fork cover modification. My setup used the same cover you are looking at, which should be perfect for your setup and require no modification as it's factory for cable clutch setups. Anyway, here are the pics for the hydraulic setup modification, less than 5 minutes with a Dremel:
