Joining the GT crowd

[edit: my first post in the 4.6 thread and i already messed up the title of my thread supposed to read Joining the GT Crowd" im at work and i was trying to type too fast]

hey all!!

i been a member here for quite some time, and i had a White 94 V6 for the past 8 years and she died last week so i just picked up an 04 GT, in Dark Shadow Grey.

thats pics of her the morning i brought her home.

as soon as i have some extra time i will be washing, waxing, and taking better pics of her and will be posting them here. the only exterior mods i have planned are a mach 1 grill delete and maybe some light taillight tint, but otherwise i bought the car with the mods i would have done myself.

5 speed for sure.

the rims and the eibach springs are what truly sold me on the car well that and the bassani x pipe and flowmaster mufflers. but i was looking for a stang with a leather interior, and this is only cloth....but i think i actually like the cloth better.

the rims are anthracite i believe.

oh and yes the power is phenomenal compared to the six!!

For exterior mods, all you have to do is the mach 1 grille delete, and it will be perfect. I don't know if its just me but i cant stand the ring around the pony.

i hear ya man, going into the mustang hunt i knew the first 2 things i would do to it would be the grille delete and the chin spoiler, lucky for me i bought with the chin spoiler and my g/f is giving me the grill delete as an early christmas present when she comes home from school december 17th

Real nice car. DSG is probably the second best color, after black, of course. Those wheels are a PERFECT match for that car. Have fun with her!

no i was not. i bought the car in Darien. and really the only places i have driven besides around Algonquin / Crystal Lake, were Lake Zurich where i work, and Palatine where my friend lives.

i did look at a Black 2000 GT in Villa Park though...prolly 2 weeks ago.

Congrats on the new car. My first car was a 94 V6. I was so excited when i got my gt. Now it feels slow and needs more power! Still love it though.
