x2million on getting re-geared. At lest 3.73 if you are hesitant, 3.90 if you are inbetween, 4.10's if you want to be smiling all the time, 4.30's you are a nucking futz.

no i was not. i bought the car in Darien. and really the only places i have driven besides around Algonquin / Crystal Lake, were Lake Zurich where i work, and Palatine where my friend lives. i did look at a Black 2000 GT in Villa Park though...prolly 2 weeks ago.

i bought it not from a dealership, but from a "kid" that lives off of 75th street. i say "kid" cause he was 21 years old.





secondly....what is the difference between hypercoated and anthracite? it looks like hypercoated looks like a "gun metal" or black chrome color, and anthracite looks more like a powder coat. and mine are more like painted or powder coated.

Of course Mustang50v8 got a 5 speed. We both used to own V6ers and he has since upgraded but he was ALWAYS jealous of my car (I'm his girlfriend of 5 1/2 years) because I have a 5 speed and he had an auto!! HE HE HE!!!

Ironically he (Mustang50v8) taught me how to drive stick and he never owned one! Until now!

CONGRATS on the new car!! I cant wait to take her out for a spin and see what she can do. I'm jealous!
