The fuel injection and accessory brackets are worth more than he's asking for the complete engine lol I'd buy it and put it under the work bench until I needed it.. In your case you should buy it and freshen it up
$200 bucks is cheap,I think it would be worth checking on at least

I'm in Fl and have a spare 91 motor with about 100k on it. Pulled for a converable project that will not happen. Too much hacked wiring and I don't drink BEER! Could be up for grabs.

What is a good price to pay for a 97 mountaineer motor assembly with 105,000 from a junkyard?

I provided you with the link to all the junkyards. You can price it out there. 3-500 is a fair price.without a warranty.

I have a '99 Mountaineer and a '95GT the odometer broke and the mileage will not go up anymore, so that could account for the low miles. I think that it was a common problem or something, it had to be?

Anyways, when I pulled the engine on my '95 mustang, I brought it to the tech school that I was going to and we tore it apart and measured the cylinder walls, crank & cam journals, and everything was in great shape! My teacher was a ford guy and he thought that it was cool that I brought it in, he told me that I tore apart a perfectly good engine!!! It had burnt exhaust valves but the cylinder walls still had OEM cross hatching and the piston rings were in great shape. Oh, the bearings were in great shape too so we didnt replace the cam bearings... I think that the pre '92 engines had forged pistons and they would tear up the cylinder walls a little more, like my '88GT was pretty bad. I had to take it .030

What I mean is, you should be good lol...
