I have a few questions. I just got a new (To me anyway) ride. It is a 97 GT. It is nice and fun to drive. Good dayly driver. Nice to drive a car again. But here are the questions. The car is, as far as I can tell, all stock. I have about $300+/- to do a few things off the bat. I will add more later. At first I was thinking Springs or exaust (Cat back). Then I was thinking a few cosmetic things like a mach one chin spoiler, s281 wing. Don't know. aybe I can get some input from you guys. I have not owned a mustang since High school, a long time ago. That car was fast, but I also had money to burn. Any help would be great.

welcome..

i would suggest lowering your car first, most people around here will recommend eibach, if you search you'll find some pics/info, then exhaust..

gl with the car :nice:

The car is a 5 spd. I was thinking about the springs. The question I have is How low do the sport line eibach springs lower the car? The reason I'm hesitent now is bcause at the stock height now I scrape on cross pans. We have deep pans here on the western slope CO. I have gone to www.mustangexhaust.com. How is the fit and finsh on MAC catbacks?

My buddy had a Mac exhaust on his car...the sound was nice, a little too loud for my taste but he liked it. He did have one heck of a time putting it on though. The flanges wouldnt fit right he said but it did go on eventually.

How is the ride on FRPP springs?
I have the C springs on a 00GT and just put the pro-kit on a 02GT. The C springs have a harsher ride IMO but the ford B springs look to be a bit softer up front than the C’s.

oh, may want to consider sub-frame connectors.
