Well, it has been a few weeks now since I started on my project car. I am almost done. My turbo coupe powered 89 stang should be fun to drive. Now I have the exhaust and a few minor details left. I'll sent pics when it's finished. By the way I should get away with using a 2-1/2" downpipe to a dynomax bullet with a dump right? 3" shouldn't be necessary yet, right? It only going to be like no more than 220 HP. Gimme your input.

The 3 inch exhaust definitely won't hurt it, especially if you plan on making some more power later on.

as of now i would take the money for the 3" exhaust and work on a ported head....2 1/2 has been proven to over 300rwhp.
I figured 2 1/2 " would be plenty good. I'm going to get one made at a local exhaust shop for a cheaper price than if I bought a 3" from a performance shop. As long as the exhaust don't have any more restriction in it than the stock manifold and turbo, I'll be good to go. I'll let ya know how It sounds with the dynomax bullet. I bet it's loud when I hit the gas.
