Just Bought Me Some White Face Gauges Install Qs

I just bought them on ebay for total $46 they are BBK...140mph. I was wondering how are you supposed to get the speedo cable off. and i heard something about marking where the needles sat before removing them, and how to change the color of them. i might want to make them green because thats the color my autometers light up but i dont know that might look lame, maybe a good red, cant you just use a sharpe on the backside of the needles to change the color?

Push down on top of the Nylon ring that holds the cable to the back of the gauge panel, and it will release the cable.

As long as you get rid of the white color that is on the back of the needles you can use what ever you want to color the backside of the needle. It just depends on how long you think the sharpie color will hold up before it starts to fades would be my only question.

yeah, you may be better off getting a small bottle of red touch-up paint with a little brush... that way you know if won't fade and look pink or something haha
