Well, we took the plunge. After years of renting.. the wife and I make enough money to get our first home. We had it custom built to our specs (read: budget lol) It's really nice and I really like it. We just finally got moved in for the most part:

First and foremost, the mancave! Woot!

I don't know what I'm doing for the walls.... Really haven't thought about it yet. Just so much to do... and the landscaping... yeah no ****... I need grass bad. I wash the cars and mud gets all over the hoses! It drives me nuts!

Congrats homie. House looks nice!

Get looking house and congrats! It is a great feeling being a homeowner. Post up some pics after you get some sod ;)

BTW, you ever take any pics of the foxbody? I always see you posting pics of the 07's. I love you fox, just remember seeing it over in the 5.0 section a long while back

Thats a sick house! Congrats man...its gotta be a great feeling to show of your new house and besides the house...what do you think is the first thing that will catch peoples eye? the grabber orange beast sitting in front of it! Congrats!

Congrats on the new house! Bought my first house 3 years ago, so mod money for the Mustangs has been a bit tight (the wife always has some project or improvement for the house and yard).

I trust you'll strike a nice balance between the house and Mustang expenses.

Sure love that Gox-body 5.0L of yours!!! That color is probably the nicest color I've ever seen on a Fox-body!!! Sure wish I still had the 89 5.0L LX Sport I bought brand new way back when.

Congrats on the house. Between the tax breaks and the equity you just can't go wrong with real estate. It truly is an investment in your future. I bought my first one 20+ years ago and then was unexpectedly given a set of orders (it's the Marine Corps way) so I turned it into a rental. We just sold that first house and used the equity to purchase 5 rental units here in NC that clear $1100 a month.

That Fox looks brand new!

I had a chance to buy a '79 Trans Am, gaudy red orange, red houndstooth crushed velvet interior (it was sick) complete with screaming chicken for $8500. If I had bought that first, I would not have my house. Stole a car from Mom and Dad at the time which were hoopties. Payments for the house were by the skin of my teeth at 15.5%. Happily, the house appreciated (and a couple refinancings) to the extent that I was able to have 4 Mustangs in my lifetime. Just thought I'd share my experience.

Some people can have their cake and eat it too at the same time which is great.
