Just downloaded another base_spark_table. EEC Tuner /TwEECer users come in.

In your sister. If none, your mom
I have the EEC Tuner for a while now but dont understand much about it. I just have the usual stuff changed in. I know that I'll propably see with the car in action, but I wanna know IN THEORY which of those spark_tables is better.

First of all, here is the stock T4M0 spark table.

35 35 35 28 28 28 28 28 28 28 28
35 35 35 32 35 40 40 40 40 40 40
35 35 35 35 35 36 38 39 40 40 40
17 20 21 26 31 34 36 37 38 40 40
14 17 19 25 30 30 30 30 30 32 32
12 14 15 19 21 22 25 27 28 30 30
10 12 12 18 19 20 23 25 26 28 28
09 10 10 11 15 18 21 23 24 26 26
09 09 09 11 13 17 19 21 22 24 25

This is the one I WAS using with 4* global spark adder (meaning 14* since I'm running 10* on balancer/distributor.):

31 31 31 30 28 28 28 28 28 28 28
31 31 31 30 35 40 40 40 40 30 30
30 30 30 31 35 36 38 39 40 30 30
28 28 28 28 31 34 36 37 38 28 28
28 28 28 28 30 30 30 30 30 28 28
28 28 28 28 21 22 25 27 28 28 28
22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22 22
22 22 22 22 22 22 21 21 21 20 20
22 22 22 22 22 22 21 21 21 20 20

This is the new table with 0* global spark adder meaning 10*:

26 26 28 32 32 34 36 36 36 36 36
26 26 26 32 32 34 36 38 38 38 36
26 26 26 32 32 34 36 38 38 38 36
30 30 30 34 34 36 38 38 38 38 38
30 30 30 34 34 36 38 38 38 38 38
36 36 36 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40
38 38 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40 40
38 38 42 42 42 43 43 43 43 43 43
40 40 42 43 43 43 43 43 43 43 43

Which from the last two is better??

Thanks.

I will talk in general terms cause EEC Tuner is a little different than Tweecer which I'm more familiar with.

If you are gonna work with the tables you might wanna not deal with adders (global)as things can get confusing.

With the Tweecer you have the following spark tables: base, altitude, borderline, & mbt. Your spark can be changed up or down with just those tables alone and then there are Functions as well as Scalars which can add or subtract to the your final spark curve.

If you see that your spark curve is not following your changes you will have to find where the pcm is changing things which is most likely due to conditions like temp & such.

I killed my borderline & mbt table cause they were jacking with my efforts to get to my desired final spark curve.

After you can get things to track with the changes you specify it gets eaiser.

A lot of folks set the last two rows of the highest load with the same values. It has worked for me as well.

Hope this helps and you can convert my Tweecer Speak into EEC Tuner terms but a lot of info can be found on the sites about spark and how our pcm's calculate it.
