Just Filled my nitrous bottle

I filled the bottle yesterday. I got it at 7.5$/pound (+ taxes ) So I put the bottle back in place, did a quick "Pshhhh" to empty the line, as instructed to do. I hooked the line back in place, re-opened the valve, and I hear some "Pshhh" again.

I got a leak....Right in the back of my dash cluster, where one of my guages hooks up. A BIG 2 thumbs down

Gotta fix it now. ANd the stupid purge button is acting the wrong way. It'S always on,and when I PUSH on it, it stops purging. Needs to be the opposite way !

Oh well..

UPDATE

The leak is from the hose in my car, for my inside gauge. The connections are fine, its BEFORE the connection where it leaks. Pissed..

I'm thinking about adding a guage for my Nitrous pressure but I'd like to get a electrical one !

Do they exist ?

I don't want to run a braided hose I rather just run electrical wires

That sucks man! But if you sniff the leak, at least you'll get a good laugh about it lol.

Strange about the purge button, switching the wires won't help - will it?

No Jim the T connector is fine. It's that braided silver hose.

Today I'm gonna try to switch the wires just to see but I'm pretty sure my wiring is good.

I'm also installing my Accufab AFPR. I have the upper intake off for that. I found out what my fuel pressure was. I'm running 29psi at idle vacuum on, and 37psi vacuum off, on the stock regulator. Thats low IMO for my mods. I dont wanna run lean on the juice so Ill raise it a little.

They exist fore sure. I beleive more in a mechanical gauge though. Its a PITA to make it fit there but It shouold be worthed.

I have a Nitrous Express ( Auto Meter) gauge in 1FUN TOY. Have yet to try it as we're not wasting time running the car this year to keep the motor fresh for resale. Next year we'll deal with all that.

I finally fixed that purge button. The problem was the switch itself, not the wiring. The new purge button is a little bigger so I had to drill a bigger hole. While doing that in the car, with all other switches plugged in, I ended up breaking one other switch by twisting it. But now everything is fine. Everything works so fa and I'll most likely be tring it today. I had to bypass the leaking hose so I wwont be running the interior gauge for the moment. Just gotta make another "tune" for the nitrous.
