just got a vortech

i just bought a used vortech V-1 S trim unit for a very good price with 3.33 pulley. its in great condition with no shaft play or leaks. i still need to put some pieces together but its not much. as regarding to fuel, i know i need a 255lp fuel pump and 42lb injectors. do i still need the vortech FMU along with a T-REX pump for "insurance purposes"? what the best maf should i run (lighting maf/80mm) and what psi should the fuel pressure be set with the regulator ? (getting it tuned right away). im new to boost

If possible...

dual inline 255's and no intank
No FMU, SCT chip and custom tune
I also had great luck with the SCT mafs (BA2600 or BA2800)
I would start with base FP at 39psi

I ran this setup after many diff deals with my Vortech and i was very happy

Check with SuperchargersOnline.com for the miscellaneous parts you may need, if you don't find them elsewhere. I dealt with them a bunch when I pieced my Vortech kit together and they were both helpful, and priced fairly. In my experience, it was easier to call rather than try to place orders online. I believe the guy I that helped me was named Brian, FWIW.
