Well, like the title says I just got back from Modular Madness Motorsports in Mooresville, NC. Let me say, Don is awesome at dyno tuning. Here's the proof:

295 RWHP
331 RWTQ

Mods: MAC catted H-pipe, MAC flowpath cat-back, C&L 80mm MAF.

Oh yeah, it's an auto, too.

Are those STD or SAE numbers? If they're SAE, that torque is pretty impressive.

Very strong numbers.. How many miles on the motor? I'm probably going with a midpipe soon myself. Hopefully it takes me near the 300 RWHP mark. That and a custom tune should get me there.

I was really confused at how your 97 got 230+ HP... then realized the swap.

About 700 miles. With a good tune you should easily be close to 300 RWHP. I am!!

Actually, it's an 03 Mach 1 motor. You'd be hard pressed to get 330 RWTQ out of ported PI heads and cams. At least, you don't see many PI headed/cammed stangs running around with much beyond 290-300 RWHP and 290-305 RWTQ. I think most run around 275-285 HP and around 300 TQ.

All I have for mods is a catted h-pipe and C&L MAF. I can't wait for the ported intake and longtubes. Can you 330+ RWHP!!!!

Greg,
Glad you had a good time.
The most I have gotten for you other guys is 285 rwhp from a Stock 4.6 tuned with Comp Cams 278H .500 lift.
Also have a 2003 GT come for a 8psi Procharger and cams and left at 455 rwhp

All numbers from the shop are SAE
