Just got my first mustang project and ive got some questions.

I recently bought a 98 cobra in hopes of eventually making it my daily driver an making my truck off-road only. When i got the car the whole top end was basically in the trunk and after sorting through the mess i found out i am missing the cams and everything that goes with them. Since i already have to buy a complete cam kit i want to go with an upgraded one but at the same time keep the drivability so whats the best ones to buy to increase performance but still be able to drive daily and not completely breaking the bank? Also what should i look out for while piecing the car back together and what other parts could i buy to increase the performance?
