Whats up everyone.. my dad and I's 66' is in the garage now and it is solid!! i'm really excited.

Except one quick stupid question... At one point when i started the car the whole ignition assembly spun around with the key instead of stay in place. How is this assembly held into place. it was dark in the garage so i couldn't hardly see under the dash last night. I'll prolly go to my parents house and take a look at it again tonight. Is it clipped in placed???? Thanks in advance

Also one more question. What type of electronic ignition should i get? Any specific brand? Thanks again everyone

ps. I'm excited about getting know you all and ur stangs on here!!! See ya

the ignition switch should be held in with the outer trim ring, which I believe threads onto the cylinder. Someone else here may have better info than me.
