Just Installed Brenspeed Blower Tune & Accessories...

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!! I have a Vortech V3 HO kit in my 2010 GT, and I have BBK Equal Length tuned headers, O/R X-pipe, custom axleback mufflers, SPEC stage 2+ clutch and matching flywheel, 3.73's and some suspension work... I got the Vortech V3 HO installed @ Vortech in Cali (they needed my car to develop the 2010 kit, I got a GREAT deal, but had to leave my car for 3 months) and the tune that Vortech supplies w/ this kit is for 90 octane or better fuel... I talked to Chandler @ Brenspeed about getting a tune, and he suggested getting the Kenne Bell BoOst-A-Pump, Brisk Colder Plugs and an IAT sensor relocation kit and a Brenspeed 93 Octane Blower tune... I wasn't sure exactly how much difference it would make, but I went ahead with ordering it all... Along the way I had some problems w/ the install (2010 Stangs have different color wiring harnesses) and Chandler and the Tech guys talked me through it, and got all the issues ironed out for me, within hours! The customer service is like calling someone you have known for years, even after the purchase! I then got the tune, installed it, and the car wasn't running right under WOT, I called (after hours) left messages, and 1st thing in the morning I check my mail, and Chandler and Dave had already sent me messages to fix the problem, it turns out the MAFIA unit that Vortech gives you w/ the V3 HO is unneeded under 12+ lbs of boost, so, as per the responses from Chandler and Dave, I removed it, and plugged the original MAF harness back to it, and took the car for a ride.. AMAZING, THE CAR PULLS SOOO MUCH HARDER WITH THIS SETUP THAT I CANT BELIEVE I EVEN LIKED IT BEFORE THE BRENSPEED MODS!! At a 50 mph rollin 2nd i can floor it and turn my 295's into smoke all the way into 3rd, and it pulls soo much harder all the way to the 6,600 rpm revlimiter! The whole experience with Brenspeed and their products and customer service is beyond excellent, in fact, on July 6th I now have an appointment at their facility for Detroit Rocker cams and a dyno tune!! BRENSPEED IS 12 HOURS FROM ME, AND I STILL WOULDN'T DEAL WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY!!! I am now new to this, but the attitude and courtesy of the whole Brenspeed staff is! This is the way business should be done!!

that sounds pretty awesome. did you ever get your clutch issue figured out? if youre having fun with the car again im have to assume you did...

Nope..but Brenspeed also diagnosed my problem, and liek many people said, I WAS WRONG the stock slve works just fine with almost all aftermarket clutches. The issue (hopefully) was actually a slave failure due to the extreme heat (long story, it wasnt me driving when it happened, but the original clutch was burned up, i mean all the way past the friction disk as a result of someone pulling up my e-brake and intentionally dropping the clutch in a high gear to destroy it, they succeeded) so when we swapped in the SPEC Stage 2+ and flywheel, we just swapped it, didnt change the slave or even fluid that had been heavily abused and overheated.. I just ordered a new OEM Ford Slave and Pilot roller bearing and next week we are going to drain all the fluid, replace the slave and fluid, bleed it, and hopefully WE ARE BACK TO NORMAL!!
