After years of sitting in the garage, I recently made the determination that my old classic needed to get back on the road. Yesterday was its first drive in 6 years, and now I'm determined to bring it back to full glory.
My dad bought this car for a retirement project some 30 years ago, and we both did alot of work on it. When dad died in 2009 I inherited it, and drove it for 6 months or so, but it sat so long in my dads garage that transmission fluid would just pour out of it, so it sat some more - waiting for me. Now that it is fixed and driveable, time to save up for front disk brakes, and then a full restoration. It's a 64 1/2 - built April 7th 1964, and sold on the day of release of the Mustang to a doctor in Illinois according to the original manual we found in the car.
