I know this has nuthin to do with 4.6 Mustangs, but here is my daily driver 86 Jetta GLI 5. spd. I just lowered it today with an H&R sport cup kit. The cup kit comes with tuned shocks/struts & springs that lower the car 2 inches without sacraficing much ride quality. I didnt want to do any mods to this car, but since the stang is so fun to drive & I cant drive it everyday, I had to do something to make it fun to drive. It handles pretty good now...Anyway, heres some pics.

Looks awesome man. Love those BBS's. ;) How is it handling?

Thanks.... It handles pretty good except there was one problem. I think H&R sent me a defective front strut because when we were tightening the front strut, the rod just snapped off & we werent even using air tools. So I had to reinstall one of the crappy stock struts to get it home. Other than it being a bit too soft on that side, it handles pretty nice. Im gonna call H&R on monday to see if they will replace it. They better because the kit was $600 bucks!!!

You would think their stuff would be of the highest quality. I'm sure you will get it worked out, they're a reputable company. 600 bucks is pretty decent. If they made a kit of that cost for my mustang I would do it. I like that ride height and stance.

Yeah...$600 bucks is cheap compared to Mustang parts, but an 86 jetta? I couldve put that into a 4:10 gear swap on the Mach, but I have been wanting to lower this thing since I bought it a year ago. Im diggin the new stance. I just hope H&R doesnt f-ck me though. I love there products, & I would definately buy them again, unless they dont make things better.

See gunmetal 5.0...I told u the Mach wasnt a garage queen, LOL. I hate that I have to park it outside everyday. Usually its at least covered though, but I needed to wash it again b4 I put the cover back on.
