No tricks that I know of, mine went on with ease. Just remember to scrape all the old gasket material off your heads before installing the new headers and gaskets.
Don't use the gaskets they come with, they'll blow out in a week. I used Percy's exhaust gaskets, got them at AZ, no problems, even re-used them several times

i've had my origional gaskets on for a year. no leaks. driver side in from the bottom and you may need to disconnect the steering shaft. pass. side from the top and you'll neet to remove the intake tube/maf/ airbox. this info is for unequal shorties BTW
the front bolt on the drivers side of the power steering pump can be a bitch... IIRC you can use a 1/4 drive with a universal in order to get it out... i took out the battery so i had some more room as well..
I got them on the other night. BBK equal length shorties = unhook steering shaft on driver side and pass through bottom to the top. Passenger side = unbolt motormount from subframe and lift motor 2-3 inches and take off the smog pump b.s.
took about 4 hours of install and another 4 trying to get the xpipe to seal up at the header lol im a 2.3 turbo guy so i dont play with the 5.0's as much but i do know my way around lol thanks for the replies
if there is a leak after install, make sure you know exactly where its coming from or you'll end up taking them off and on like 3 times like me. my leak was between h-pipe and header.
