k&n or Steeda CAI and air filter?

was just curious which people thought was the better brand. I know k&n doesnt have their kit out yet for the 05 but I bet it will be shortly. Also didn't know if anyone knew of a difference between their air filters. Any info would help. Thanks.

K&N is currently in the R&D phase of production...so it might be another month at the earliest, but they are not making a true Cold Air...its actually going to be a Short Ram Air w/ Heat Shield...I believe Steedas is the same....so I dont think that will make a difference in chosing...both are great, dont have numbers from K&N yet to compare so couldnt tell you but I would imagine that either way it goes it would be very marginal in the difference...cost too. But Steedas is out if you dont want to wait...K&N might also eventually come out with an actuall cold air extension, where I dont believe Steeda would be in the market to do this....at least I havent seen it yet...so you will get more options from K&N.

C&L has a sweet one coming out soon that I would wait for. It replaces the entire tube to the tb rather than just the filter and maf housing like the steeda one. They have supposedly made it to where NO computer tune is necessary with it due to its cast shape rather than being standard 3.5" or 4" pipe.
