My 3" tails dip much lower but it was necessary because of the way my added fuel lines run. But, they clear 18x10's with a 275/40. Do what you can to keep the tails or pop for a set of these! They look menacing from a rear view!

sent from a dude, with a sweet fox mustang!

VRS makes a really nice set of 3'' tailpipes. They are similar to the flowmaster ones, but dont have that ugly weld. They are 100% stainless, just like a factory tail.

I may call them up to see if i can get a 3.5'' set made.

I actually like the bare metal/weld/polished design of the flowmaster pipes... Gives it a cool fabricated look IMO. I wouldn't want all polished under the car...

I have stock tailpipes with 17x10.5 and 275s with no rubbing issues. I plan on doing a custom exhaust with 3inch tail pipes and switching to 315s soon.

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

I got my stock tails to work with 17x10.5s and 315 series tires but they make the tailpipes look like soda straws. I wouldnt mind going with a 3" or mebbe even a 3.5" tail pipe just to make things look more proportionate. Funny thing is when I first bought the car it had 3" tips on it and I thought they looked like soup cans. Now that I have beefed up the wheels/tires the stockers look way too small.
