I am buying the 6-8 lbs kit for my 1994 GT. My questions then is what else do I need? I have searched, however, I have found only other threads where people are telling people to do a search, or inconclusive answers.

My basic question is do I use the FMU with the kit and leave the fuel system alone, or do I go with bigger injectors, bigger pump and bigger MAF. Either way, do I need a chip? If so, where do I get one and do they just tailor it to what my combo is?

Sorry, another reason I am asking instead of reSEARCHing (:)) is that I am so green to this, I want to make sure I fully inderstand the information.

Thanks in advance!

About the complete kit :)

I like to tune at stock fuel pressure
and
Size fuel pump and injectors ... according to fuel needs

I like to use a meter that handles the additional airflow

After All ... That method has worked very well for Ford :nice:

I wanna use the pcm to deal with A L L of the above
for a tune that is custom for my particular combo ;)

Or In Other Words :)

No Boost a Pump to crutch a tiny fuel pump :nono:
No FM to crutch tiny injectors :nono: :nono:

And most of all :Word:

No ... universal chip :nono: :nono: :nono:
that is supposed to work for A L L combos :rlaugh:

I guess I'm trying to say ... if the above doesn't bother one .....
Yes ... its got ... everything one needs to run a blower

you can use the fmu and leave the rest alone, or you can get bigger injectors, maf, and fuel pump and a tune. i think the "bigger injectors and a tune" is the better option because you can maximize the power and fine tune it to your liking better, but it can work either other way.

for a chip, the guy to go to is don lasota at lasotaracing.com

Very well said Grady.

If it's worth doing it's worth doing right!!!

Don't use crutches use the right parts. :nice:

Thanks guys, a bigger MAF, injectors, pump and TB will be on order the same day I pull the trigger on the KB unit. I live in Winnipeg, Canada, and I do know of a guy that is perfect for the tune aspect.
