Kenne Bell Mustang, Gears?

I have a twin screw putting down anywhere from 466 to 482 rwhp. Will it be beneficial to go with 410s? Is there a gear in between I should go with or nothing at all?

Please guys with blower cars or experience with them respond.

first gear will be useless. if traction is a problem at all now, it will bemagnified with 4.10s. also, you will run out of gear quickly and have to shift very early in the run.

Gears will only benefit with good quality drag radials (like Mickey's) and on a well prepped track. As far as the street goes Bigcat is right, the traction will be terrible. 1st and 2nd gear will be absolutely useless at WOT.

hi, at what rpm is the best shift point on a stock supercharged 2007 with 4.10?

I had a KB pushing 10lbs on my 94gt. I was running 3.55 gears and on stock tires 1st and 2nd gear on the street were useless. I opinion in that 4.10's are way to much and the most you will need is 3.73's. I think you may run out of 4th gear in the 1/4 with 4.10's and the KB.

Whatever RPM that puts you right back in the powerband. It's different for every car.
