kenne bell/systemax I lower

Already have the KB currently using the stock lower. Been looking for years and finally scored a Holley Systemax I lower intake. For those that aren;t familiar it is an earlier piece, and they're hard to find these days, stopped making 'em a while ago. I just scored a never used piece.

I remember Blackvert had one of these a while ago, maybe he can chime in, but to anyone familiar with these and using a KB on top....I've heard they are direct replacements, however they move the upper back a mm or so. If this is the case the KB pulley would need a spacer for alignment. Just looking for any info on this,....if a spacer is needed and where to get one or how to make one, latter probably being the only option.

I'm going to put this in the power adder section as well...not too many KB guys/girls around here these days. Gonna mess with my newly installed tweecer for a while, get the hang of it, then install the goodies I've picked up over the last few months. The Systemax, IMO is a score. lowers are limited when using a KB, and this is good one to have. I was going to get a Tmoss ported lower, however every time I was about to mail him a check, I got a call and deployed for a few months, hobbies of course fall to the wayside in that case.

To recap, if anyone knows about spacers for a KB and Systemax I lower...let me know what you know.

yes, i did have one with mine. i do not remember there being a problem with the pulley lining up. mine never chewed up the belt or threw it off or anything like that

Isn't the Systemax 1 lower the same as a stock lower?

Now....go out and have that lower ported. The Systemax 1 is an improvement over stock for certain, but its still got a long way to go before I would consider it a "decent flowing" lower intake.
