I have a stock 98 Cobra Convertible with 32K on the clock, I've just bought a Kenny Brown tower strut brace for it, on a test fit prior to attacking the car with a drill I noticed the "vent pipe/filter" that goes around the front of the air intake will need moving, can anyone tell me the function of this pipe/filter and what I can do to re-route it, I'm thinking of replacing the stock hoses with silicon ones so may replace this at the same time if one is available anyplace.
