That poor, poor AOD

Also, when you swap on the new tires take a look at you drums. I am curious if you cracked a shoe or completly glazed the drum.

No offense but I wish I had a camera worth a s hit because my aod basically stock car will smoke them way farther than that, even with no brake.

and this would allow you to post "im better than you" videos? who cares how far you can smoke your tires man, and his first burnout vid was a pretty long one.

laser you are probably right he did some sort of damage to his rear brakes even if its just excess wear, but what were you doing at 17? probably the same thing I was...doing burnouts and other stupid things for no reason other than it was fun.

Duuuude, nice to see a proper burnout with a properly working Traction-Lok!

What an excellent way to start my Friday morning at work.

I applaud you, sir!

It never fails that you do burnouts in some pretty stupid places.

1.) Next to a lake. (Remember...in your blue one?)

and this one....

2.) On a bridge. God only knows what would happen if you got out of control and went over.

When I was 17, I thought I was one of the Duke boys. E-brake 180s at 50mph, jumping RR tracks (never in the Stang, though), driving off road... I did it all. I say the most important thing is to never put anyone else in danger (on the bridge, I see you had oncoming traffic- so I'd have to ding you there). As far as component damage- its just a car, you can always fix it later.

Yes, I am getting old
This is what I imagine: Me doing that in the Cobra and killing $800 worth of tires, 200 in rotors, 100 in brakes pads.... I miss Foxes

But yes, at 16 I was doing donuts on vacant fields in my Stang and off roading it on dirt ramps being built for a new freeway. I did all that dumb crap and broke a nice rare Fox doing it
At 17 I had a 1971 F-150 with an old 302 in it so I wasnt doing donuts and stuff anymore

ok really. its not like im trying to controll a 500 hp fox here. its 220 at the wheels max. if you can keep from losing it doing a small burnout like that then you shouldnt be driving a rwd car. end of story. and it was a corn field after snow melt..

and really? yeah id ike to see a stang go over that!

You could install a line lock kit for under 200 bucks and save your brakes. and where are you paying 800 bucks for tires? cause $400 per tire seems a tad high.

I cant watch the vids at work, but kudos to burnouts. One of the first things i did to my notchback was a line loc kit. and its probly the one thing that gave me the most satisfaction... I was 18 then, and i still enjoy a good burnout just as much at 23. Growning up is over rated

burnouts are good clean fun mang!

car still is running a little warmer then id like it so i think im going to buy an alum radator for it as the stock one looks crusty as hell inside which leads me to b eleive that its not getting as good of flow through it as it should.

(one with a 70 nova, 95 GT, 96 GT, turboed civic making 350 at the wheels on a mustang dyno ) set side by side well a little distane apart and just roasted them for a good min. ahh that was alot of smoke. ahh good times!!
