Hey guys, sorry this is kinda off topic, but I don't know anywhere else to ask. I'm thinking about purchasing a $400 Chevy Sprint, which is basically a Geo Metro. Everything is fine, except that it runs a little rough and kinda surges. I just thought I would ask if someone has an idea or has experience with these cars before I get myself in a hole. It is only 400 dollars, so I don't think I can really be screwed over.

What are you going to do with the little thing? Don't tell me your going to actually drive a skittle. Your afraid of getting in a hole, you'll end up 6 ft deep if it gets hit by anything. Hit a rabbit and flip the car, the rabbit will walk. (hop) I don't think it's worth risking your life, get something a little more sturdy. I miata will bully you.

It's pretty much for gas mileage going to school and work, which is just around town, not far. And so If the stang is out of comission, I can have something else to drive. I just don't want something to be spending a bunch of money on.

I understand. I have a '93 Grand Am, and it sucks. Kind of embarrasing to drive but what I am trying to say is that I think you can do better.

Man, if I needed a beater car I would look for a 69 or older VW bug. Parts are dirt cheap, can be down right zippy if you spend a little bit of money on it, and while its still a death trap, I personally think its cooler than a Metro.

ig to one for free from this guy i work with

its a 1990 geo metro 4 door 3cyl automatic it is horrible.

gas milege aint that great and omg a riding lawnmower has more power

never try to blitz out into traffic or think "I can make it" cuz you wont

other then that its like a model car everything is small and u can peice it together pretty easy, except for the brakes there a pia, trying to change the rotors or wheel bearing sucks

other than that its ok i guess for free
