King Cobra Clutch Hold Up?

says on websites that sell them that they hold 40% more then oem ones that came in the car when they came out. do the math... 300 tq x .4 = 120. 300+120= 420
i just had one installed yesterday, im still breaking it in for now. i had the rear main seal changed and figured what the hell, ill get a new clutch installed to. the old one wasent bad yet, it was the a302. the same as the king cobra except the KC has 10% less effort on the clutch pedal. that clutch held my power no problem. I never did burn outs or launched on slicks. the pedal feels nice and light now to. hope this info helps

get a new pilot bearing to, i have also read to get a better throw out bearing retainer... i dident, but i dident know untill today after i got the car back... summit racing sells one for 40 dollars p# sum-700103

Yeah I planed on thoes. They got changed when I had the spec put in but Im gona change everything.

I had the King Cobra clutch with my h/c/i and it burned a bit when I would be at the track. I know have a Centerforce Stage II clutch and love it (softer pedal feel) but it has just a tad bit of clutch chatter if you let off the clutch pedal real slow...

How much did the centerforce run you?

I bought the 94/95 pressure plate (more clamping force than the fox equivalent) for I think $190 or so and the disc for $80 and their TOB for $35.

I drive the car everyday and I'm very picky on my car and I like this clutch if that tells you anything. It has a 60% more holding capacity over stock...
