Has anyone ever heard of these

I have one on my 92 and this is by far the shortest shifter i've ever felt (i've had tri-ax's in last 2 cars)
Its funny b/c i have never heard of this shifter (the company makes fuel regulators)

Yeah, they were popular a while back. I've had them apart to inspect. Technically the Tri-Ax has taller pivot ratio, which gives it a shorter throw than the Kirban if the same length handle is used. But the Kirban handle is shorter so the throw lengths are about the same. If you put the Kirban handle on the Tri-Ax the throw is shorter than any other shifter. Period.

If you put the Tri-Ax handle on the Kirban it will be a little easier to reach, but the throw will get slightly longer.
