knocking noise from rear axle, (IRS) should i try to fix it myself please help

i have a 99 cobra, i had a 4.10 gear put in like 5 months ago, at a speedshop in forestpark georgia, and now it knocks when i let the clutch out and the rear tires start to turn, it is starting to get louder, i only have like $200 right now, so should i try it myself, i think that something is just loose, because it drives fine, but it is when i let the clutch out it knocks loud from the rear end
please help me out

Just read an article in 5.0 mustang mag...july 2004 issue pg 151 about 99 later IRS upgrades, they talk about a ford snafu that results in a clunking sound...sdn't know if this is it or why it would just start but may be a good read for you.
