Kolshack drives a Mustang!

Kolshack the Night Stalker drives an 05 GT, but it's gold colored. Any one watch the show? His GT got him and some associates out of a jam with some werwolves or some like creature. I used to watch the original back in the day, seems like Darren Mcgavin drove a 65 convertable if my memory serves me, I was just a lad.

Yeah, that Mustang rocked! Not only was it painted an un-stock color but it had some pretty nice wheels and he removed the pony from the front grille. It looked especially awesome in 55" of High Definition glory

The color was confusing to me. In one scene it appeared yellow. Just what is the official color? Why haven't we read anything about this in various magazines?
I remember the original. It was an early Mustang, not certain if it was a 1965 or 1966. I remember the guy wasn't quite as "cool" as he is in the modern version. He had a hat and a jacket he probably got from Goodwill.
The new show is OK, not great. But anything with a Mustang is worth watching. Right????
