Koni / KYB shocks struts worth buying for a DD?

Are Koni / KYB (and similar) adjustable shocks & struts worth buying for my daily driver? I was just looking at a set of Gabriel Ultras and they are crap-ton cheaper. The cost really isn't the issue. It's that I don't want to throw a bunch of money at something I will never use or notice. I'm still using the originals and I think, at over 12 years old, its time to replace them.

I like having adjustables because I can go from track mode back to daily mode with the twist of a knob. If you don't use your car for anything other than street duty there really is no reason to get adjustables IMO.
