Lambo Doors?

Does anyone have a Fox body with lambo style opening doors?
Does any company out there make a kit.
Just thought it would look good on a fox body with shaved doors...

I've seen a few on SN95's- never on a Fox. I was thinking about it myself, there is a kit, but it's just too much damn money that won't make my car go any faster. I saw it on a Porsche Boxter once too- sweet! Ours are a little boxy though, I can't really picture it that well.

I think I remember seeing an article in some Stang magazine 2 or 3 years back about some guy who put them on a Fox. Looked unique, but I'd spend that cash on go-fast goodies instead.

neither shaved handles nor lambo doors would look good on a Mustang... it looks entirely unnatural when you try to do exotic conversions to a car that is the very image of simple and tasteful construction.

There was another thread and i don't think they make it for the foxes, just the SN95 and up versions. On the SN95 body style they look sweet. On the foxes, that's a different story. Shaved door handles look sweet on a mustang also.

Looks like a head basher lol. I guess it looks ok, but very pricy though just for some doors.

It is not a "head basher." Heres the deal, I love custom stuff, and I had never seen it done before. Sooo I wanted to be the first to try it. I would have never done it if I had to pay the full price of $1900. I got it from a girl down south and made her an offer. Needless to say I got it and I welded it up with my buddy. At the time the didnt offer a kit for the mustang, at all. Hell there was only like 2 brands to pick from. The way the kit works is the top hinge is a "3 way hinge." So the door rotates a little outward then upward. It is easy to get into the vehicle. My beef with it is that it tends to be a little hard to push down. There are lots of kits out now that you can push down with 2 fingers. I think it look great on a fox. I think it looks dumb on trucks, suv's, hummers, and a few other cars. On a stock mustang I think it looks dumb as well. But I think it suited my car well.-J
