okay first time i bring this mustang to the track im just gonna run my regular street tires, ill be getting a set of et streets later. But what do u think i should try to leave the line at? their 245x45ZR17 and there pretty decent tires. I'm going to increase the tire pressure to max in the two front tires to reduce rolling resistance.

Ya i know i need a new manifold and a MAF :P both stock and will be added down the short road. If you can give me ur input on an estimate i might be able to do in the 1/4 w/ my street tires and then what to shoot for w/ a pair of street/strips. AND if u really wanna go crazy, once accually have money to get my new MAF and Manifold what do u think that would change my E/T too? Please add much input as possible for other mods for me to put in. i wouldnt mind running Mid 13's on street tires and low to high 12's on street strips / slicks. Give me ur advice input on anything thanks :P

Launch just like you do on the street; get out of the hole as quick as you can WITHOUT breaking traction. For me this means leaving off idle and peddling out of the hole, or revving to 1500-2000 rpm and slipping the clutch. Practice makes perfect.

92stang302, not to hijack this thread, but those konig wheels are hot on your car, how much did you pay for those a peice? I love them!!!

hey thanks a lot man for your compliment, lucky for me when i bought the car they were on their and in great condition. those pics are semi old i have tints on it now and some new seats & race number decals w/ a horse decal on the rear window. I'm ordering my new Cobra R hood soon shortly too, so ill be updating w/ new photos soon. But thanks i dont know how much they cost.

And yeah i guess ill just keep practicing here and there on the street when i get a chance to feel it out, but im gonna try i guess anywhere betweeen 1500-2000 w/ the street pair.
