LCA Bushings

Hello all , new to the forums so please be gentle lol

I've had a set of billet steeda LCA's for a year now. While I was changing the trans and diff fluid I noticed I had blown the rear LCA bushings out. (i wonder if thats the noise ive been ignoring )

Has anyone had good experience with replacements? any retrofits to spherical?

If you're set on keeping the Steeda ones, contact Steeda directly for replacement. When mine went out in my BMR's, I opted to change to the J&M LCA's, as they have a different bushing type. Hoping that will keep them from blowing out as easily.

Thanks for the input, I spoke with steeda today and they said that I cant just install the spherical bearings in the "older" style LCA. But they would be happy to sell me a new set. lol

I am now considering doing something with the upper arm. Has anyone had any success with going with a poly bushing or replacing it all together?

What sort of noise do busted LCA bushings do? I'm having some serious noise in the rear end of the car and I'm thinking it's either this or watts linkage out of alignment.

I'm getting a mild clunking heard at low speed. Most often happens as I add or remove tension from the driveline.

Clunking or squeaking could be a tell that you have a bad bushing.

I have all poly bushings, both upper and lower control arms. What ever you do for the upper, get something that will last, as you will not want to install another one lol.

They don't appear to be damaged so I'm trying to figure out if my LCA's ate it or my watts link needs to be reassembled all i know its that is a LOUD clunk.

I don't know anyway to be sure what the problem is without putting it up in the air and giving it a shakedown.

I am dropping my rear arms today to determine if the LCA's are wiped out or just the bushings. Round hole good oval hole bad lol
