Recently my 'vert top started leaking at the bottom of the rear window. Right at the corners it seems like the top has pulled away from the glass a bit and water is running inside towards the bottom of the top and through into the inside of the car. Sometimes it collects behind the rear seat on the plastic cover and sometimes it drips down the hole for the defrost wires into god knows where. Anybody know of anything thats safe to use on the top to either reseal the top to the glass or plug the hole?

This is definatly a downer after having my throwout bearing go out 100+ miles from my house and having to tow it back so i could fix it. I just got it working again and discovered this problem. On the upside i do have my bassani catted x and bassani catback installed and it sounds great. It now sounds the way it should have out of the factory....the SOTP feel helps as well :D ...

well, i had the same problem. i did a self installation on the top and used some pretty damn good super glue but about a month later the top separated from the glass. i still haven't fixed it and i really should- i'm thinking of using fiberglass resin just because i've used it on my boards and it's waterproof so i don't think it will fail very easily. as for leak on the sides, if i remember correctly, the top isn't even really sealed to the sides, just to the top and bottom. If there isn't much force right at the whole then u could try superglue, it'll hold it for a while but not permanent.
