My 3550 pretty much leaking in a couple different places. Theres no place where it leaks so much that it actually drips, yet, but it is awfully wet around where the back up lights hook up and where the speedo hooks up, and maybe another place or two. Does anybody know if there is a pressure valve or anything on there that would make these places more succeptible to leaking if it was plugged or not working right. Also the plugs that hold the fluid in are a little wet. Do you guys use teflon tape or anything else on those plugs to help keep them dry and leak proof. I put mine in dry just because I used to use teflon tape on the plug that I made for my AOD pan and it never seemed to work all that good. It was always kind of wet around the plug. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Russ

sounds like you got tired seals i see it all the time..................prob cost you 2 or 3 hundred to have a trans shop drop it and re-place them but i would have to look at it....fluids do some funny stuff(i have seen oil crawl all the way under the car and up the rear windsheild............could be a trans pan gasket......hard to tell without looking..

What seals are you talking about? The seals that are right by all the places that are leaking? Meaning I would have to replace all the seals in every different place that it's leaking? I would do it myself if the seals are easy to get a hold of and change, since I already have the car up in the air and all the exhaust off.
