Hey all,
Decided to put my Lecarra wheel on today because it's finally nice outside in New Hampshire.

--Ran into a problem--
The wheel goes on the steering column but it stops short of fitting. The black neck adapter is about 1/2 inch away from the beginning of the steering column neck. I can still see the horn contacts by looking at it from the side. I've tightened the nut as hard as I can and I've tride pushing the wheel as hard as I can but it won't budge.

Is there something that's supposed to line up or am I just going insane?

You are on target.. I had same problem. Just loosen the bolts that hold coulmn in and slide the housing towards the wheel. It moves seperately from the steering rod and moves freely once you twist it around a bit.

yeah.. thanks himark.. I just came in from fixing it to find your reply.. lol

I remembered that when I took the column out to paint the interior last summer that it could just be slid up. Worked perfect, everything's great now. THANKS!
