LED/LCD TVs

Well, it may not hurt to wait a little bit, especially if you do not absolutely need one...

The 46" Bravia has, IMHO, one of the finest looking images on the market. But, it is currently a $150-$200 out of your price range.

However, we are rapidly approaching that time of year where all of the retailers are going to be courting your hard earned money in the name of the holiday season...if you think that sale is good now, imagine what it will be like in November...

I would wait a month or two and get the Sony when it goes on sale...you know those sales are coming...

i can't really wait ... i am setting up my man cave and the plan is to use the TV also as the monitor for my computer, and i need to be able to use the computer before christmas, so i need the TV soon

i think i saw that 46" sony at best buy for $1200 or so, that looks great

FWIW - Not sure if you've heard the recent news on the AP wire, but apparently retailers are expected to offer deep discounts on LCDs in the near future due to low sales volume this summer
(the manufacturers were hoping to move lots of LCD units for the World Cup - WTF? LOL  ).

Sooo, maybe you'll be able to get a steeper price match discount if you look around a little more - although the $150 is still a nice chunk of change if they honor the Dell price. G'luck !

i'm in the market for three tvs one for kitchen , living room and bedroom 32", 55", and 40" i hope to get a good deal if i get all 3 at one time lol

I have a toshiba 32'' i loved the quality for the price paid like $320 shipped :nice: Apparently they have the nicest black levels on cheaper tv's

But its starting to act up the inputs get pixelated if someone walks near the tv or the tv vibrates... They are fixing it for free.
